Rush Machinery presents a range of equipment at IMTS

Rush Machinery will showcase a range of equipment at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2022, including wheel truing and truing machines, CNC and semi-automatic carbide rod cutting machines, as well as a machine chamfering CNC carbide rods.

The machines can be seen in Rush Machinery’s booth #237233 during the show at Chicago’s McCormick Place, September 12-17.

wheel truing and truing machine
The FC-350W wheel truing and truing machine with optional guard. The FC-350W is designed for ease and efficiency in dressing and dressing flats, angles and radii on diamond and CBN single wheels and multi wheel packs. The FC-350W allows the user to dress up the diameter, profile and sides of the wheels without disassembling the wheel pack. The optional guard has four clear acrylic swing-out sections that allow for easy access. An upgrade can be performed by a Rush service engineer if necessary.

The machine also comes with RushVision, software designed to make dressing and dressing easy and customizable. RushVision facilitates high-precision, high-tolerance work and the dressing of complex shapes and spokes up to 2″ (50 mm). The software includes drawing templates for the most common wheel shapes and allows users to import from CAD via a USB port or a networked PC.

Chainsaw ‘Auto-cut’

The CNC “self-cutting” carbide rod cutting machine can double the production rate for cutting carbide and hardened steel rods compared to manual cutting machines. It features easy to use CNC controls with a touch screen operator interface.

Parameters can be quickly set for rod diameter and length. The machine automatically loads and cuts rods from a large capacity magazine. The capacity of the “Auto-Cut” is 0.055″ (1.4mm) to 1-9/16″ (40mm) diameter carbide rod, up to 16″ long, and it comes in standard with a flood cooling system.

Rod Chamfering Machine
CNC Carbide Shank Chamfering Machine is designed for chamfering blanks of carbide and HSS cutting tools. The machine features user-friendly HMI programming for easy setup and easy-to-use CNC controls with a touch screen operator interface. The machine has a magazine loader for long periods of unattended operation, freeing the operator for other tasks.

Easy cut

The compact beveling machine automatically loads rods from 1/8″ to 1″ in diameter and lengths from 1-1/2″ to 7″. Handloading capacity up to 1-1/4″ in diameter and 10-1/4″ in length.

Semi-automatic chainsaw

The Easy-Cut semi-automatic carbide rod cutter is designed for fast and easy cutting of carbide rods and tool ends between 1/8 inch and 1 ¼ inch in diameter.

Built in the USA, the Rush Easy-Cut is fully enclosed and available in semi-automatic or manual models. The semi-automatic model features PLC controls, pneumatic clamping, hydraulic power and LCD readout measurement. Also ideal for high speed steel, according to the company.
